2020年には、DELTAを運営するKYOTOGRAPHIE 京都国際写真祭が企画し、ローカルとグローバルをつなぐべく、世界的に注目を集めるセネガル人アーティストのオマー・ヴィクター・ディオプが商店街で働く方々をモデルとした写真作品「MASU MASU MASUGATA」を制作し、特大プリントにしてアーケードで展示しました。

Demachi Masugata Shopping Arcade, in which DELTA locates, is known for its variety of shops from grocery stores and general stores and is also famous for as the terminal of Mackerel Road, which was used to transport mackerels from Fukui to Kyoto in the old days. “Masu" of Masugata means “square wooden measuring cups” and that is why you can find such cups designed in the pavement of the arcade with drawings inside by local children of fishes that came through the Mackerel Road.
In 2020, collaborating with KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival, which is managing DELTA, Senegalese artist Omar Victor Diop created and exhibited a series of artworks called “MASU MASU MASUGATA” made with portraits of people working in the arcade.
